THE SKYDIVING EXPERIENCE & FREEFALL
Is there a skydiving age limit?
You must be at least 18 and provide a valid, drivers license or passport prior to your jump. This is standard law for all skydiving dropzones in the United States. No ID, no jump. No age maximum: you’re never too old to jump!
Is there a weight limit to skydive?
With a focus on your safety and that of our instructors, we welcome guests who weigh up to 240 pounds. A flat fee of $20 is added for guests between 200 and 220 pounds, and a $1 per pound applies for guests over 220 pounds. Please note that this price may change upon arrival.
The surcharge is added because the amount of weight under each parachute is important. Heavier students put more strain on our equipment and are more demanding on our instructors during exit, opening, and especially for landing. Of course, all of our instructors are trained to safely skydive with students of all shapes and sizes.

What does skydiving feel like?
It’s impossible to describe – you tell us when you land!! One thing is nearly guaranteed, though: it will be the most invigorating experience you have ever had. You won’t get the sinking stomach feeling like what’s often experienced on roller coasters or amusement park rides. With you flying at 120 miles per hour down and the wind coming up at you, you’re closer to a feeling of floating. It really is unlike anything you’ve done before. You’ll see …
Can my friends come and watch?
Absolutely. To ensure they catch your big moment, let them know about the possibility of waiting out weather and other factors. They should plan on spending two to four hours at the dropzone with you.
Can we bring our dogs?
No pets, no exceptions.
Can me and my pals all jump together?
Each tandem jumper leaves the plane separately from other jumpers. Safety first.
Can we get just one video for all of us?
Each jump is made separately. Your instructor will capture your individual experience only.
Can I bring my own camera?
You can take as many pictures as you want on the ground before and after your jump. However, you may not bring a camera, phone, GoPro, Selfie Stick, etc. for your skydive. There is too much risk associated with you bringing your own; it’s best left to the pros. Our tandem instructors are trained to use cameras while skydiving and are properly equipped to capture the whole amazing thing.
Do you skydive in the winter?
Florida, baby. We jump all year. If the weather is cold, you should dress appropriately and bring gloves! Layers are best.
What is “weather permitting”?
Clouds, rain, and wind can all prevent skydiving from occurring. If winds are too strong, the canopies cannot land safely. Blue skies are the best! (That’s why skydivers are often heard saying, “Blue Skies”!)
Where can I smoke?
No smoking is permitted in or around our gear or office. There is a designated smoking area located in the spectator area.
Can I get a refund?
Once you have paid, there are no refunds – but you can reschedule your jump for another day. If you anticipate a conflict, get in touch at least 48 hours in advance. If less than a 48-hour notice is given, a $50 per person fee will apply.
